Frequently asked questions

What wallet formats are accepted for the recipient address?: Any standard Ethereum-compatible address starting with 0x — MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, Ledger, Safe multisig, and any other EVM wallet. ENS names are not currently supported; paste the raw address.
What is Base network?: Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 network built by Coinbase. Transactions are fast (<2 seconds) and gas fees are a fraction of a cent, making it ideal for everyday stablecoin payments. USDC on Base is the same dollar-pegged token as on Ethereum mainnet.
Can my client pay without a crypto wallet?: Not directly — your payer needs a wallet with USDC or USDT to complete the transaction. If they don't have one yet, the checkout page links to Coinbase, the easiest on-ramp to acquire USDC from a bank card.
Can a payment link be paid more than once?: No — each link is single-use and expires once paid. Create a new link for each invoice or transaction. This ensures exact amounts and prevents double-payment.
What happens if the link expires before my client pays?: Expired links can no longer be paid. You can extend the expiry from the link management page, or create a new link and send the updated URL to your client.
